Hi David, hope you are well.

I really like your comments on our Irish president, Baragh O'Bama.

Before the election, i explained how I viewed it to my know-nothing friends infected with O-Bomba-Mania.

To me, it was an investment choice. Obama was the high risk/ high reward choice. McCain, lower risk/lower reward.

Clearly, Obama is a very smart guy and unlike many conservatives, I don't even doubt his sincere motivations.

If I could have gotten Obama in a room with you, Mike Shedlock, Barry Ritholz, Todd Harrison, and a few others for some real explanation of how the financial markets REALLY work and really affect the economy, I think we could have gotten him to understand the right thing to do--which is as little as possible! As you point out, he will never get the right answers from Geithner, Summers, Bernanke, and the ivory tower Harvard/Princeton/Goldman Sachs pompous arrogant twits. Not to mention Congressional geniuses like Nancy Pelosi-- and she from Baltimore!!! Can you disown her?

Unfortunately, his track record and choice of nitwit establishment advisors indicated that he could be an utter disaster and drive the train faster and further off the cliff than even Bush.

So I voted for McCain.

Sadly, I think the dire forecast is coming true as you have eloquently stated over the past 2 months.
