Short version: the offshore FP was a sideshow and last gasp to keep EPS going up. Biz got much harder, esp post enron in the early 2000's so they moved offshore. Looking forward to your article very much. We need a bit more analysis of the what/where/how of this mess, and a bit less theatrics from DC.
